SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Gerdarius Troutman scored on a 3-pointer and then added two free throws — all in the last nine seconds — as Florida Atlantic rallied past Texas San Antonio 73-69 on Saturday.

Jhivvan Jackson scored back-to-back 3-pointers to put UTSA out front 69-68 with 1:21 remaining and stole the ball but missed a layup with 24 seconds left. FAU controlled the rebound and Troutman hit the go-ahead 3 with nine seconds left to play and added the free throws that iced the win with three seconds remaining.

Troutman led the Owls (8-9, 2-3 Conference USA) with 19 points and scored four of his five 3-pointers in the second half. Ronald Delph scored nine points in a row to give FAU a 68-66 lead with 1:33 remaining, and finished with 15 points. Justin Massey scored 14 and Jailyn Ingram 13.
